Social Media Postings

For social media posts, each week will have a specific color and theme for both Facebook and Instagram. In order to get the audience’s attention, we decided to have more interactive posts to help the brand to establish a relationship with the audience. Hence, we tend to have more questions, small activities or video posts on both social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram.  

Week 1 - Introduction of Products

Facebook

The theme for the first week is introducing the brand to the public and the color is brown as it is the color of the Earth. It gives comforting and nurturing kind of feelings which match with the brand. There are a total of three posts for the first theme. The first post focuses more on the tapir, the logo of the brand. The video  shows how a tapir sounds like where a lot of people do not know. The second post is a small activity for the audience to play by screenshot the cap position. The third post will be introducing The Grand Hornbill series by showing that the tea also can have fizziness.

For the first week, we created four posts to introduce the brand and products. The first post is a gif of the Tapir walking into the frame and positioning itself on the logo, in a way, it’s to show that the brand is starting fresh with their social media postings. We also included a post that aims to differentiate The Tapping Tapir from other artificial beverages, so that consumers can see the difference between natural sodas and other sodas. The next two posts introduce the two series – The Tapping Tapir and The Grand Hornbill series, so we had group photos of the two product lines to inform our audience about the products the brand offers.

Week 2 - The Tapir Talk Web Drama Series (FB) | Highlights of Product Ingredients (IG)

In order to hook the audience we decided to create a short web-drama series of 3 episodes for the second week. In the 3 episodes, it shows a girl having a hard time to make a decision. In her conversation, she describes the sparkling iced tea as a charming guy she just met and the traditional tea as her current boyfriend. Each episode will show the differences between The Grand Hornbill series and the traditional tea. The girl will only reveal that the “charming guy” she has been talking about is actually The Grand Hornbill sparkling ice tea in the last episode.

For the second week, we wanted to highlight and emphasize the natural ingredients the products used, we chose two bottles from The Tapping Tapir series and one from The Grand Hornbill series. Using the beautiful contrast of colors, we made them consistent by having the same fruit placements for all three posts. The captions also aims to introduce the unique flavours from each of the products.

Week 3 - Hari Raya Postings

Hari Raya is coming! Other than doing some festive posts to send out greetings to Malaysians, the posts also aim to remind the audience to enjoy The Tapping Tapir in order to have a different yet wonderful Hari Raya this year. The color for this week is green, hence majority of the colors used in the postings are green.

For Hari Raya week, we went for a green-based theme as it is a color that strongly represents the festive season. The message we wanted to communicate through these festive postings is to remind our followers to get The Tapping Tapir to celebrate Hari Raya with them. It’s great for guests and something that will make their celebration even more enjoyable.

Week 4 - Products used in different occasions

Blue is the color theme for week 4. We created different scenarios to show how people can enjoy The Tapping Tapir at everywhere and anytime. Moreover, it’s Father’s Day so we decided to use tapir illustrations to send out wishes to all father figures in the world. The second post, we used the missing caps to indicate that the number of tapirs are decreasing. It is to raise awareness of the endangerment tapirs are facing currently and at the same time, enhance the image of The Tapping Tapir.

Week 5 - Countdown to Showcase

This week is to promote the BMC Degree Showcase event in order to encourage more people to attend the Showcase. During the showcase, we will provide some free sample testing, promotions and games to enhance the relationship with the consumers.
